PRE-CLINICAL APPRENTICESHIP H/F – REF 202007 - 004

We are creating the future of tissue reconstruction. Our team pushes the limits every day to design next-generation products bases on our platform of biomorphic programmable polymers. We are disrupting the field of surgery, both open and minimally invasive, to positively impact the lives of patients. We are actively looking to incorporate one apprentice to be part of the Pre-clinical team. This person will be responsible to manage key microprojects and studies incorporated within the development and verification/validation. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES -Contribute to the biological evaluation per ISO 10993-1 -Plan and follow various biological evaluation activities including but not limites to: In vivo degradation characterization of polymers Characterization of degradation compounds Toxicological evaluation of compounds -Plan and follow subcontracted activities -Contribute to the documentation required for developing medical device products -Follow safety practices and procedures ENVIRONMENT AND INTERACTIONS -Work closely with other departments to understand the product development process -Present results in team meetings -Work closely with external experts -Follow medical device regulations (.eg.ISO 13485, ISO 10993)
